2.1 Get Started with TDengine Cloud
TDengine Cloud is a fully managed cloud service for industrial big data. It delivers all features of TDengine IDMP as a cloud-native solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You can register for free and automatically receive $250 in credit to evaluate TDengine IDMP.
2.1.1 Create a TDengine Cloud Account

In a web browser, go to cloud.tdengine.com.

Under Sign Up, enter your email address and organization name.

Click Get Confirmation Code and enter the code sent to your email address.
tipIf the confirmation email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder, or request the code again.

Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and click Sign up for TDengine Cloud.
2.1.2 Enter Account Information

On the page displayed, enter your name and password.
note- Your password must be 8 to 20 characters long.
- Your password must contain letters, digits, and special characters.
- Supported special characters:
. ~ ! @ # $ ^ & *

(Optional) Enter your phone number and job title.

(Optional) Select a profile picture. JPG and PNG files under 1 MB are supported.

Click Continue.
2.1.3 Create an IDMP Instance
- In the dialog box displayed, select IDMP to create a TDengine IDMP instance. A TDengine TSDB-Enterprise instance will also be created during this process.
- Enter a name for your TDengine IDMP instance and select a pricing plan.
- Enter a name for your TDengine TSDB-Enterprise instance and select a pricing plan.
- Specify whether you want a high-availability TDengine TSDB-Enterprise instance.
- Click Create. Your instances are created and started — this may take a moment.
2.1.4 Activate and Initialize the System
On TDengine Cloud, activation is handled automatically during account creation. Once your instances are running, continue to Section 2.4 to explore IDMP features.
